But lately, I have noticed a few things that concern me. It seems that many young adults just don’t seem to understand that what they post on social networking websites are out there for EVERYONE to see. (Do not be deceived in thinking that just your “friends” can see what you post.) In fact, you are creating a snapshot of your life for the whole world to see!
As I look at some of the things you are posting, I can not help but wonder, is this really what you are all about? Do you really watch the movies you are talking about and post quotes from? Are the books you read helping you to “set your mind on things above”? Are you creating an appetite for “things” that you really should not desire? How does this really honor the Lord?
This is an incredible time in your life. Use these years to serve the Lord! Their is so much you can do! The technology of the day can help you do this as you “post” about what you are doing and how God is working in your life!
Please understand that you are creating an image of yourself. Does this image honor God or is it an image that you may regret in the future?
